Ouarzazate to Merzouga
The journey from Ouarzazate to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga is one of the most spectacular road trips in Morocco. Spanning approximately 360km, this route takes you through the heart of the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs."
By Private 4x4
The most recommended way to travel. Hiring a private driver allows you to stop at the Todra Gorge and the Dades Valley at your own pace. The drive typically takes 6-7 hours.
By Public Bus
For solo travelers on a budget, Supratours and CTM operate daily buses. The journey takes around 9-10 hours. Note that the bus often stops in Rissani or Erfoud.
